Good news this Wednesday Weigh In…I’m down another 2 lbs this past week! That’s 4 lbs total weight loss from the 17 lbs I gained! Woo hoo! I have really been watching my calorie intake this past week. My goal was 2 lbs, hoping for 3, but I’m happy with the results. My goal this next week is 2-3 lbs and to make it every day to the gym. The last few weeks I have had to miss a day or 2 to stay home with a sick kid. Hopefully they are done being sick! 🙂
Starting today I am entering in a 31 day challenge I joined on Facebook. It’s a plank/squats/pushup challenge to get you ready for summer. Each day you will do a set of each and each day the number of reps increase. I will be doing this in conjunction with going to the gym every day. I especially need help in my butt so I’m hoping this will help get it smaller faster while gaining strength as well. I’ll be posting the challenge each day in my Fitness Journal for anyone who wants to do it as well. Speaking of the fitness journal, I haven’t been posting my workouts because I don’t usually remember everything I did that day with my trainer. But I will be posting the challenge each day. I should probably take a full body “before” pic as well today so I can post the progress at the end of the month.
Ok about the Sassy Weight Loss Challenge…not one single person that entered the challenge sent me an “after” pic for people to vote on a winner. What’s up with that? I’m guessing they either didn’t stick with it or didn’t get the results they hoped for, which I totally understand! So this challenge didn’t quite work out and that’s fine. I may have another one in the future. 🙂
