Here are some random facts about me that you may or may not know. You may even be surprised by a few. 🙂
I’m an only child. And just to clear up a misconception that come with being an only child: I was NOT spoiled and did NOT get everything I wanted. I’m sure there are those out there who were, I, however, was not one of them. This also might be the reason I have 3 kids. 🙂 When I was 17, I acquired 2 wonderful step brothers.
I met my husband when I was 16, which is also when I started to fall for him, but I was 20 before I finally told him how I felt. The rest is history.
I don’t eat any kind of seafood. I think it all goes back to when I was 4 years old, sitting at the table eating a platter of crawfish, when my dad called them “mud puppies” or “mud bugs.” That was it for me, I put it down and never touched them again…or any seafood for that matter. I used to each fried fish before that! I totally get it’s all psychological but I still won’t eat it! lol
But I do love to fish! My dad and I used to go fishing all the time. He taught me how to bass fish and I was 4 when I caught my first big fish. When I was older we would get up early in the morning during the summer and fish all day. Some of my best memories.
I have an
obsession crush on Bradley Cooper. Enough said.
I have zero tattoos. I have nothing against them, just never got one, although it is something I have thought about doing. I do have one body piercing…my navel…but after pregnancies I doubt I will ever wear another belly ring. 🙂
I have a weird aversion to certain smells when it comes to lotions or candles. I blame in on pregnancy no. 2. I don’t like perfume smells of any kind, or anything floral. The only vanilla scent I can handle is vanilla extract. I prefer fruity smells, cinnamon, or minty. Yes I know, weird.
I have a really good memory. I can remember things all the way from when I was a year old.
I know every single word to Top Gun.
I always thought I would be a working mom. My mom worked so I just naturally assumed I would work as well. Staying home never occurred to me. God had other plans and I couldn’t imagine not being home with my kids now.
I’m about 1/16th Mexican. My great great grandfather was Mexican and born in Mexico.
I am also Cajun. Then again, most people who live on the border of Louisiana are.
I’ve woken myself up several times from talking in my sleep. It’s weird cause I’m not talking in a normal voice, more like a loud whisper, and I usually don’t remember what I was saying or dreaming. lol
I love the beach. This goes back to my parents taking me to Destin every year. I want to live at the beach and be a beach bum once the kids are grown. Just not the beaches around here…yuck. lol
Huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Oh wait…you probably already knew that! 😉
